Mohandass Saini has been the chief executive officer and managing director of Shapoorji Pallonji International (SPI) since the Indian-headquartered contracting giant established global operations in 2006. Saini’s tenure with the company spans 30 years, and he has spent more than 10 years working in the Middle East.
SPI’s regional project pipeline for the next year includes main contracts for a mixed-use project at the UAE’s Bloom Central, and for two packages of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Financial District. Saini told Construction Week that “maintaining a sustained order book” could prove to be a challenge during the upcoming year.
