Dubai-based contractor, Beaver Gulf Group has steadily built up its UAE project portfolio since its 2007 inception. Rajesh Kumar Krishna, who has worked in the Middle East for more than 20 years, is the contracting firm’s chairman and chief executive officer.
The company’s project portfolio is predominantly focused on the UAE market. Beaver Gulf is currently constructing the Zahra and Hayat townhouses that form part of developer Nshama’s Town Square master project in Dubai. The contracting firm holds a Grade 2 license issued by Abu Dhabi Municipality, and Dubai Municipality’s Ground Plus Unlimited Floors permit.
Krishna told Construction Week he expects Beaver Gulf to achieve steady growth this year. For contractors, he added, it is key to maintain realistic financial records and targets during difficult economic conditions.
He continued: “The biggest of the contracting companies fail not because of technical reasons, but because of financial indiscipline.”
Krishna said a slowdown in the UAE’s freehold properties sector could impact Beaver Gulf’s operations in 2016, adding one of his plans for the firm is to diversify into the oil and gas sector.
